Level 3 Personal Training Course – Overview
Our Level 3 Personal Training course runs for 6 weeks and takes place three days a week—Monday, Tuesday, and Friday—from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Consistent attendance is crucial, as Level 3 is significantly more complex than Level 2 in fitness instruction. While there are no theory exams, the coursework is substantial, so it is essential to attend every session.
Unlike Level 2, which offers a more general foundation, Level 3 focuses on personalized one-on-one training and provides greater earning potential, especially for those aiming for self-employment.
The course includes 10 practical assessments, during which an experienced assessor will evaluate your ability to perform tasks safely and effectively.
Although Level 3 is not as intense in terms of pace as Level 2, it provides deeper insight into how to design tailored fitness programs and introduces essential nutrition concepts such as caloric intake, macronutrients, and meal composition—including fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.
Earning a Level 3 qualification unlocks a variety of career opportunities in the fitness industry, making this course highly recommended for dedicated and career-driven learners.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for enrolling in one of our funded Level 2 Fitness Instructor Courses or Level 3 Personal Training Courses include several important requirements. Firstly, candidates must be aged 19 or over and currently receiving benefits. It is also essential that applicants are not enrolled in any other funded course, as our funding policy permits support for only one course at a time.
Additionally, candidates must not be employed for more than 16 hours per week, ensuring they have the time and capacity to fully commit to the program. These criteria are designed to ensure that learners can maximize the benefits of this opportunity and achieve meaningful personal and professional development.
